Over 20 years managing teams, leading organizations and designing enterprise applications with concentrations on technical solutions, process productivity enhancements and operations. It has been my fortune throughout my career to be in a position to influence and implement change at all levels of varying organizational size and sector. My consulting experience has exposed me to many methods of Information Technology management where I was able to learn best practices across the spectrum of business, as well as glean insights from their mistakes and struggles. I utilized those learnings in my executive role to help successfully grow a business and presently in the assistance of directing organizations in change.The skillsets I have acquired enable me to lead broad ranging teams to develop solutions and implement operational changes and furthermore to act as a technical ambassador by communicating vision and coalescing support in execution. To be successful that vision must be shared by all stakeholders which requires a good relationship with others and common understanding of everyone’s roles and responsibilities. My passion lies in finding the methods to enhance productivity and effectiveness within an institution or to solve problems by inspiring teams into implementing and/or developing technical solutions for the end user whether they be internal or external. Finding the best approach requires an open mind and a hunger to stay on top of the ever-changing landscape, two things I believe I have in abundanceI approach the creation of a comprehensive IT environment similar to the process of composing a symphony. It is as much an art as a science, you must know how to assemble many different pieces into a finely tuned whole. You must come to both with a deep knowledge of available components and theory. I find inspiration in the process as much as with the result. You cannot be afraid to take appropriate risks and have the strength to walk those choices back if they are not adding value. I look for the patterns, cycles or rhythms within and they should become more obvious as the process unfolds. I believe this to be a proper analogy for the design and implementation of complex and integrated IT solutions, as well as to how I approach my work, and the importance to which it is undertaken.
