In my brief time here on earth I've learned that professional growth simply cannot be separated from personal growth, although some will try really hard to prove that idea wrong. I think it's important to undersatnd that we are not "who we are" but instead we are "who we are becoming", and understanding this makes it possible to see opportunity in the inevitable setbacks and adversity life has in store for us . I've had an amazing entrepreneurial journey over the last 8 years, including launching and growing multiple magazines and starting another business in the call center space. Some of those ventures were wildly successful and some weren't, but I gained wisdom through those experiences and gratitude lies at the heart of it all.
