Carrying my experience as a safety director into a new industry, retail automotive repair, I identified, developed and implemented a loss control program that reduced the company's spiraling workers compensation losses to a fraction. I helped the company to adopt a safety-oriented culture that refused to tolerate preventable losses.My company was recognized for this significant achievement when Business Insurance magazine named me to its Risk Management Honor Roll in 2006.
