Primary job responding to emergencies within the boundaries of 3rd CD Division, which comprises the estates of Sembawang, Yishun, Ang Mo Kio, Hougang, Sengkang, Punggol and Serangoon. Responded to major incidents during course of duty namely Blk 612 Ang Mo Kio Ave 4, Defu Lane and Senoko South Road. Involved in various exercises involving station personnel, HAZMAT and also DART personnel. Key experience was being involved in the Operation Lionheart Contingent in 2012 as a Media Officer.Assist the Public Education Officer in scheduling of courses and liaise with the various branches for assistance in logistics and technical support. Also assisting the Community Involvement Officers in grassroots events such as Post Fire Visits and Home Fire Safety Exhibitions.Appointed a Non-Commissioned Officer in December 2012. Managed the movement of 15 NSFs and scheduling them for conducting of courses and events. Assist officers in liaising with various branches, departments and stations for logistics and technical assistance.Appointed as PA to Head of Public Affairs Branch in March 2012. Tasked to handle public queries, scheduling and preparing PowerPoint slides and excel spreadsheets for meetings with higher management and/or external government and private agencies. Also assisted in Corporate Image Audit for all 3 fire stations and 4 fire posts within the boundary.
