I’m Ryan, currently reading Law at the University of Kent. Born in Hong Kong and educated in Malaysia, I’m excited to deepen my understanding of law and its impact on society. My particular interests lie in commercial law and politics, where I’m keen to understand how the law shapes global commercial interactions.I strive for academic excellence, and I'm proud of my current achievements. I achieved an impressive score of 54/56 in the IB MYP programme (global top 0.4%) and was honoured to be one of only eight recipients of the University of Kent Foundation Scholarship. These experiences have deepened my commitment to pushing boundaries and achieving the best results in everything I do.But it’s not all about academics for me! I’m passionate about making a real difference. As part of the Wellbeing Student Advisory Board (WSAB) and a student representative, among many other voluntary roles I hold/have held, I’ve been able to help fellow students by connecting them to support services and voicing their concerns at a higher level. It’s incredibly rewarding to see how these small actions can create meaningful changes in the university community.
