The revolutionary Responsive Retail Platform (RRP) was designed as a horizontal IoT solution that brings together retail hardware, software, APIs, and sensors in a standardized way, connecting disparate in-store technology, making it easier for retailers to develop and deploy Internet of Things (IoT) software and services.Within 1 year, we saw measurable results, with responsive technologies adopted by retailers in nearly 60 stores with 2,000 sensors, and 26 partners aligned to the vision to scale in a variety of environments. General Manager, Memory & Rack-Scale Group (Cloud: Iaas, Paas)Intel Corporation Jul 2014 - Jun 2016Santa Clara, California, UsIn 2014, I was called on to tackle a highly complex technical product challenge for the Memory business with a focus on addressing composable compute, network, and storage issues. As GM, I led a team of 200+ SW and HW engineers to revolutionize the memory-storage hierarchy for cloud, big data, and high-performance computing applications. During this time, I led the team that developed the software that yielded over 4x the memory capacity at half the cost of DRAM while improving TCO by 8x—fulfilling a burgeoning need in the market to optimize for increasing workloads. Today, this technology has been broadly adopted as a storage adapter and widely deployed all over the world.Appointed to concurrently lead the Rack-Scale Group at this time, leading efforts to democratize the Cloud for Enterprise and Telco. Within two years, standardized efforts around composable hardware—gaining adoption into the Redfish specification. -
