Recently, I made a career change selling medical implants for 3L Medical. Currently, we use products from Arthrosurface, FH Ortho and CTM. Arthrosurface's carries an amazing product line for total/reverse shoulder arthroplasty, 1st MPJ hemi/total restoration, patellafemoral arthroplasty and wrist/capitate hemi restoration. For over 30 years, Arthrosurface has been delivering early intervention orthopedic products that help restore active living for people around the world. FH Ortho is currently the system we use for ACL reconstruction, utilizing the patient's hamstring autograft. We use CTM to help physicians deal with issues that are beyond their control. Connective tissue implants augment damaged tissue with functional tissue. Restoring movement can be one of the greatest joys in a person's life and this is exactly what motivates me. Being in the OR, assisting physicians, could not be more gratifying for myself. On the weekends, I am a supercar driving instructor/coach for Xtreme Xperience. Check us out! http://thextremexperience.com/For 16.5 years I was the point of contact for all daily operations in a research lab mentored by David Klumpp, PhD and Anthony Schaeffer, MD at Northwestern University. I monitored lab performance, analyzed and reviewed results, while also supervising development and implementation of new protocols. I supervised lab personnel and reviewed technical operations ensuring that all processes, protocols and procedures were quality controlled. I assisted in developing, implementing and administering budgets, grant and administrative procedures for our lab. I have co-authored several scientific papers for presentation and publication and assisted with grant preparation. We pursued multi-disciplinary projects in bacterial pathogenesis and neuro-immune interactions. A key to our success was the rich training environment resulting from the close collaboration between clinical and basic scientists. We investigated all aspects of host pathogen interactions, from the immediate biochemical signaling evoked in bladder cells, to the associated inflammation, to the development of adaptive immune responses.
