I began designing through a lust for a done-by-me solution to Twitch Graphics, for when I live-streamed games like Among Us or Minecraft with my friends. Learning how to do this all by myself was a great experience, and it led me down a path I never thought I'd take even one single, tentative step down. I finished up the work for myself, and immediately approached somebody I'd been following for a little while, and asked if he wanted me to provide the same service for him. Being at the humble beginning of my journey, I told him if he was happy the what I produced, he could pay me what he thought it was worth, and gave my own estimation. He paid double that, and my confidence and belief in myself was boosted enough to carry on. Fast forward 18 months, and I had built a portfolio in the gaming/content creation space, but was in disapproval of a lot of the clientele in that space, with budgets low, expectations much higher than budgets commanded, and the likelihood of fulfilled payments dramatically lower than the requirement for making a living off of this passion, and so the flickering Website Design fire flared up in my mind once again. I cut off everything for 6 months, no more clients, and certainly no more Esports. I was going to learn how to design, construct and deploy effective websites. Framer was my weapon of choice; it required no code, was easy for me to use, and more importantly, was easy for you to use, too. After 6 months of learning, and practicing, and failing, and practicing some more, I decided to shoot my shot, and landed my first client. The project fee was 140% larger than my previous most lucrative venture, and I was ready to deliver. The project took months, and myself and the client were committed until the end, ensuring this was the best I could deliver to help their business thrive. The CEO said the website I was building was the missing piece of their puzzle, and that things would explode once we were done. They turned over $40,000 in revenue in the 30 days after the release of our website, a record-obliterating month for them, and a sign of things to come for me. Jumping to the present, I have multiple pride-instilling projects and my own personal website that's always developing which allows me to spread my wings further on the internet, build greater connections, and leave a larger print on the online world with my own content/thoughts and my creations for you, on that upcoming website we need to get started on.
