Coffee Sustainability Data Impact Lead
CurrentAs the Global Coffee Data Impact Lead at Starbucks, I lead the development and operational deployment of our comprehensive approach to monitoring, reporting, and verifying the impact (MRV) of our global coffee initiatives. We are transforming a previously fragmented system into a cohesive, technology-enabled framework. This transformation allows for a clear understanding of our impacts on farmer livelihoods and our efforts in mitigating climatic effects.Key Responsibilities:Impact Monitoring and Reporting: Lead the development of a unified system for monitoring and reporting the tangible impacts of Starbucks' global coffee sustainability initiatives and all Enterprise ESG reporting for "The first ten feet of coffee", from seed to mill.System Integration: Overcome the challenges of fragmented systems by integrating diverse data sources and tools, facilitating a holistic view of our sustainability efforts.Change Management: Drive change management processes to ensure smooth adoption and effective use of new systems and methodologies across the Sustainability, Agronomy and R&D teams.Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with various stakeholders including Starbucks' global team, technology department, coffee traders, coffee suppliers, and external partners to align efforts and maximize impact.Technology Utilization: Identifying, testing and enhancing advanced technology solutions to enhance data accuracy and insight generation, ensuring our sustainability efforts are data-driven and impactful.
