I've been working in financial operations for less than 10 years, but at times it feels like I've already seen it all. Fortunately, each day brings new challenges and opportunities to take on. After spending nearly six years working at a large financial custodian, I've taken on an opportunity to work at a trust company.With the roles I've had so far, I've been exposed to many aspects of the financial industry. Each role has been a new chance for me to improve my skills. The processing roles kept me detail oriented and showed the importance of time management. Working in and managing a client facing team, gave me the chance to be a leader and work in a fast paced environment. I even had the opportunity to travel internationally to train new hires and managers, which required strong communication and organizational skills. With my recent change from financial custodian to trust company, I look to continue to improve my skills in operations and also expand my knowledge of trust management.
