A large OD/MD practice that provides a full range of eye care services. Worked alongside three ophthalmologists and six optometrists daily at three locations (Havre de Grace, Elkton, and Bel Air, Maryland). Performed comprehensive eye examinations, emergency eye care, glaucoma and diabetic evaluations, pre- and post-operative care, and interpreted diagnostic testing. Also attended weekly lectures and presented case reports on interesting cases.

A small private practice with a focus on routine eye examinations, myopia control, and emergency eye care. Worked alongside two optometrists, prescribed refractive and therapeutic prescriptions, and made referrals. Also gained a better understanding of billing and coding.

An internal rotation that focused on the diagnosis and treatment of corneal ectasias with specialty contact lenses. Worked alongside six optometrists, two contact lens residents, and one ophthalmologist, performed gas permeable and scleral lens fittings on patients with corneal disfigurements, and interpreted topographies. Also worked at a private practice-based off-site location in Chestnut Hill, Pennsylvania.

A medical model private practice with two locations (Ashland and Richmond, Virginia). Worked alongside one optometrist, provided medical based optometric care, and routinely fit soft contact lenses. Also observed an ophthalmologist perform cataract and glaucoma surgery and provide pre- and post-op care to patients.

The framework for my experience with ocular disease, glaucoma, pediatrics, emergency eye care, and specialty contact lenses while I was a student at Pennsylvania College of Optometry (Salus University). Worked alongside dozens of optometrists daily and provided comprehensive eye care to a diverse population in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

A summer optical clerkship prior to my second year of optometry school. Gained experience with frame and lens selection, adjustments, repairs, and lensometry.
