Ryen Belle is a public health student at GWU, interested in bridging the social gap in community nutrition and the reduction of lifestyle-related disease through public health policy. Additionally, she is increasing her activity in public health nutrition and various public health initiatives with the support and inspiration of faculty at Meharry and Austin Peay State University, where she completed Dual Enrollment courses as a high school student. In 2021, she graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology from Belmont University and has had a variety of healthcare experiences in Germany and the U.S., all of which have influenced her approach to public health and goals with health equity in the U.S. In addition to providing free community health services through Meharry and volunteering with local organizations, she continues to be a part of Nashville’s music scene as a violinist and pianist.
