[Principal Software Engineer] As a lead within the Solaris Core Quality Engineering organization at Oracle, I am responsible for developing frameworks and web applications which provide automated test execution services for internal development groups. Our team builds highly scalable test infrastructure; utilizing technologies like OpenStack, Jenkins, Flask, Puppet, and Solaris Kernel Zones. I oversee and contribute to all aspects of development, including web UI design, database, and back-end architecture. I also provide assistance as a test sponsor for Solaris projects under development. I review final QE test reports and help decide whether projects are ready for integration, or not.[Senior Software Engineer] For several years, I was the Technical Lead for the Solaris Install/Deployment QE and QA team. I organized projects for a small team of engineers split between the USA and Beijing, China. I was responsible for setting the team meeting agenda, coordinating schedules, assigning new project work, and reviewing changes to test code. I was the QE project lead for various key product offerings in Solaris 11 (and subsequent dot releases). I write comprehensive test plans, design complex use cases, and develop new automated software (using Python) for long term regression testing.

As part of the course work for my undergraduate degree at Mines, myself and a team of 3 other students embarked on a 6 week rapid software development project at Sun Microsystems. We designed and implemented the first functional prototype of a textui based installer for OpenSolaris.
