I graduated in May 2016, from the University of Northern Colorado. I received my Bachelors in Marketing with a Minor in Computer Information Systems.Both in school and in my previous work experience, I have noticed that there is a large disconnect between the marketing department, and the IT department, as much of marketing is done electronically now. I realized with my love of computers and my degree in marketing, I can be that communication link, helping to create stronger, and more effective electronic marketing.I have both the Network Plus Certification, as well as the Network Security Plus Certification, both received from Testout and provided by the University of Northern Colorado.Currently, I am a Technical Marketing Specialist for DataMAPt Inc. This position requires me to wear a lot of hats, and gain experience in multiple areas of technology and IT business. Most notably, I have gained experience in performing product demos, product research, creating marketing documents, promotional, training, and demo videos. This position has required me to always be learning something new, and make contributions in different areas consistently.Recently, I had been a marketing intern at the UCHealth Memorial Hospital Foundation. This is the non-profit that raises funds from the community to be given back to the hospital, or other patients in need by receiving donations, and by holding fundraising events.During the summer of 2014, I worked as an Electronic Banking Operations Intern at Ent Federal Credit Union.
