In my role as afternoon drive DJ for 95.7 That Station I get to listen to and share some of my favorite music with my community! I’ve also had the privilege of working with amazing artists/community organizers at various events such as The Tar Heel Troubadours at the NC Museum of History, The Boonerang Music and Arts Festival, and Artsplosure in Downtown Raleigh. This role includes creating content for That Station’s social media channels such as “That Doc” as well as interviews with talented musicians such as Joe P, Shay Martin Lovette, The Nude Party, and Mac Arnold & Plate Full O’ Blues.

Broadcast Assistant for Appalachian State University’s Athletic Department. In this role I film Appalachian State Athletics such as baseball, softball, wrestling, basketball, football, and soccer. Some footage of these events have been used on various ESPN channels, and on AppTV programs such as The A Game. Additionally, this role has allowed me to film events for the university such as athletics signing day, and graduation ceremonies.

As a Community Fellow I volunteered at F.A.R.M Cafe, promoted the organization through email, engage, and contact tables, and developed interpersonal relationships with my peers, the staff at F.A.R.M Cafe, and the volunteers.
