Hired, trained, and managed a team of Organizers across the largest schools in Michigan to reach weekly volunteer recruitment and voter contact goals, with a focus on in-person volunteer engagement. Developed creative strategies and systems that were effective at reaching students on campuses and led my team to successfully engage young voters and hit organizing metrics. Communicated clearly up and down the chain of command, including rolling out campaign priorities, sharing key field learnings to HQ, and assisting in the development of statewide adaptations where appropriate. Implemented clear data and reporting procedures, adhered to established data standards, and ensured data integrity.

Activating student turnout on campus, I tabled with and for college students at the largest university in the state getting them engaged with upcoming elections. I have organized student volunteers to ensure a regular and active presence on two college campuses and have networked with more established organizations to improve For Michigan’s on-campus reputation. I regularly did data entry with Votebuilder and have been a helping hand to my colleagues in understanding our software.
