I am an English major and Marketing minor in my Junior year at Coastal Carolina University. I am a Grand Strand Local and plan to enter the MAT program following graduation with the intention of entering High School education. I have cultivated my passion for literature through various outlets, allowing me to refine my writing and editing skills. I served as editor-in-chief of the yearbook in high school, which ultimately led to a paid position for Coastal Carolina University, working as the Assistant Editor for TEMPO, the campus's student-produced feature magazine, where I have also published my own pieces. I am also a member of HerCampus, an online magazine targeted at female college students, where I write and publish blog-style posts on various topics.As the former chair of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access for Coastal Carolina's Chapter of Sigma Kappa, I collaborated with various positions, such as marketing, leadership, event planning, and other campus organizations, to ensure representation for all members. I now serve as Executive Vice President where I assist in managing operations, risk management, and interpersonal relationships. This experience has allowed me to utilize an intersectional thought process that I apply across my academic and professional endeavors.I attended the College Media Association conference in 2023. I am a member of Sigma Tau Delta, English Honor Society.
