As a recent graduate of Western University with a BA in Environmental Studies, I am eager to apply my knowledge and skills to address environmental challenges and protect the earth's species and resources. I have a strong academic background in geography, ecology, and health, and I have pursued further learning opportunities on various topics related to environmental and social justice.I have also gained hands-on experience in data collection, analysis, and presentation through my work as a Water Engineering Student at City of London, Canada, and as a Species at Risk Team Member at Upper Thames River Conservation Authority. I have demonstrated my public speaking, attention to detail, and financial system conversion skills in these roles, as well as my ability to work collaboratively and creatively with diverse stakeholders. Additionally, I have traveled with Destination Conservation to Costa Rica to participate in a long-term herpetology study conducted by Fleming College, where I expanded my understanding of tropical ecosystems and conservation strategies.
