Ask me to speak or write about any random topic and I can do it no problem, ask me to speak or write about myself and it is as if you’re asking me to fly. I am an honors graduate from Indiana University Northwest, with a major in communication and minor in political science. Months after my graduation, I joined a Chicago based law-firm working on several high-profile cases including Camp Lejeune and Tylenol. In addition to this, I dedicated my weekends to working in hospitality as a server. I eventually decided to depart the corporate world to gain perspective and allow myself a sort of gap year. Having this time to re-focus I am more confident in my skills and education, which I am hoping to contribute to making real, positive change. I am excited to rebegin my journey, and I look forward to the professional opportunities that await me.
