Ryley concentrates her practice on advising and representing employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters arising under both state and federal laws. Ryley understands the importance of good client relations and dedicates her time to achieving her clients’ goals.

Ryley's practice focuses on construction defects, product liability, premises liability, automobile/trucking accidents, breach of contract, Texas non-subscriber, and general negligence cases. She has experience in various aspects of civil litigation, including depositions, discovery, mediation, motion practice, arbitration, and trial.Ryley has represented parties in personal injury, wrongful death, breach of contract, and property damage cases, including homeowners, property owners and management companies, general contractors, and subcontractors. Her work with general contractors and subcontractors involves issues including construction, remodeling, roofing, stucco, HVAC, electrical, fire sprinkler and alarm systems, structural, road construction, and workplace safety. Additionally, her work with property owners and management companies has included security issues in cases where criminal activity has occurred at a property.

Ryley’s practice focused on commercial litigation disputes involving breach of contract, business disparagement, tortious interference, and fraud. Additionally, her practice involved regulatory issues under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and the sanctions regulations administered by the Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).

Used practical judgment and problem solving skills while researching and writing briefs on higher education issues regarding: Public Information Act, lobbying compliance, non-complete clauses, and licensing issues. Reviewed government contracts, and intellectual property contracts.

Congressional Intern for the Office of Congressman John Carter. Head intern, responsible for the training, supervision, and work of four other interns; worked closely with constituents; drafted policy information letter updates for Trade Promotion Authority and Trans-Pacific Partnership; scheduled and gave tours of the U.S. Capitol to constituents; attended briefings for Staff Members regarding agriculture bill; drafted letter updates to Staff Members regarding AG Bill; monitored FEMA and drafted daily reports on disaster crisis status in Texas for Staff Members; drafted dailyreports to all offices and Staff Members.
