The Breaking Program was created by Ryley(Twigg) Mikos in order to provide private and in class breaking classes from Chicago to the Surrounding Suburbs of Illinois. The Program was designed as an extracurricular activity for grades 1-12 where students would learn authentic Hip-Hop/Breakdancing from certified teachers with years of training and experience. ​Along with teaching, The Breaking Program is also involved in the entertainment industry. We put on performances for private parties, school assemblies, workshops, bar/bat-mitzvahs, corporate events, and festivals. We put on a 5-10min performance followed by a QandA with interaction between parents/children and teachers.

• Teach regular dance lessons at the studio with students’ age 8+ years old (up to 30 students)• Participate and instruct at various high school/gym programs; Work directly with counselors • Choreograph for 4 annual recitals and various student performances/events

• Work for events such as weddings, birthday parties, bar mitzvahs, charity events, summer camps, etc.• Participate in K-Mart Layaway Dance Commercial
