In December of 2019 I graduated from Montana State with a degree in Environmental Horticulture with a concentration in Landscape Design. While completing my degree I worked in the labor industry within my field learning about the installation, management, preservation, and restoration of landscapes that heavily influenced me as a designer. Functionality and sustainability is a necessity. Montana is full of fragile ecosystems and is home to many national parks that require constant specialized upkeep in order to be preserved.Upon graduating I found myself standing in the landscapes of some of the most beautiful homes in Big Sky Montana and the Yellowstone Club. I was constantly looking inside of these newly developed homes wishing I could take a peak. I began talking to relators and architects that would visit these properties and really wanted to know more and be apart of what was going on inside as well as outside. This is when I decided I wanted to earn my certification in real estate. I believe my background is not your average background a relator might have, however, I think it is a unique one that will come in handy. I am well versed in outside features and can articulate the benefit of the current setting or voice the potential a property may have. While at university we learned the landscape accounts for 10% of the property value and I can use this to my advantage in order to find the perfect home for clients.
