In this position, I assist in V-22 Osprey proposal preparations and contract admin tasks, including customer correspondence, coordination with internal functional POCs, and contract reporting. Additionally, I support contract negotiations, the review of contract documents, and contract closeouts.

In this role, I played a crucial part in shaping risk management strategies through trend forecasting and open-source intelligence (OSINT). I spearheaded in-depth research initiatives on macroeconomic indicators and ESG factors, delivering comprehensive reports that drive informed decision-making. I also enjoyed working closely with the cross-functional PRISM team and industry experts to provide valuable insights that shape strategic risk mitigation strategies.

In this role, I actively contribute to creating positive change in our local community and beyond by participating in impactful projects that address local Austin challenges and contribute to the well-being of the hill country community. I especially enjoyed working alongside fellow Global Shapers to foster collaboration, innovation, and positive change in various spheres. One notable project was the innovative and logistical planning of a hackathon for Austin schools to inspire students to pursue careers in the STEM field.

I reviewed and filed financial documents for Nomad Sound and coded accounting entries for data processing, posting daily receipts and payments per all corporate protocols through QuickBooks. I also investigated occasional variances within such reports and corrected these errors to resolve both internal and client discrepancies.I worked to establish QuickBooks accounts for our upcoming venture titled The Stream Factory, and continued to maintain both Nomad Sound (Austin) and Nomad Sound Colorado financial records. I often made trips to Austin proper to conduct business with clients and worked closely with our sales unit and sound engineers in the field. Due to the boutique size of Nomad Sound, I helped manage everything from accounts payable to worker's compensation.

At MALC, I actively contribute to the legislative process, advocating for meaningful policies that impact the Mexican American community. My fellowship was largely defined by my maintenance of public relations and the Texas State Representative meetings I scribed. Through the scheduling of critical updates and the distribution of current events and policy news, as they related to voting rights and MALC-sensitive subject matter, I was sure to keep the constituency informed of recent policy and any initiatives that would be headed by Rep. Rafael Anchia, out of whose office I worked. The Representative meetings I attended allowed me to contribute to the narrative of political education across Texas, especially during environmental emergencies like freezes and subsequent infrastructure failure.

During my internship with Evoque Data Center Solutions (now Center Square), I interpreted Technical Order Forms and Cabling Maps (complex maps of data center floors that indicate where each customer is located and what cable connections they have between the racks they have purchased) to create an organized form describing each customer’s commitments to Evoque. I distributed weekly Service Now Reports through Microsoft Excel as pivot tables detailing the number of service orders each data center site received each week to compare productivity and activity. I also translated several documents from various European countries into English so that I could create a chart of audits each data center had completed and what still needed to be accomplished. All the while, I kept in close contact with my superiors, who worked out of numerous sites ranging from Singapore to England. I loved interacting with people in various countries and learning the nuances of their business strategies.
