• Provide domain expertise in design, planning, implementation and commissioning of multi-vendor security infrastructures that includes access, distribution, core and server switches, multi-service routers, perimeter firewalls, intrusion prevention system (IPS), remote access gateways, mail gateways, proxy servers, vulnerability management and security information and event management (SIEM).• Operate and maintain various SMC network and security infrastructure. Primarily responsible for management of Internet access, external mail access, SSL VPN access including 2-Factor Authentication Manager, external DNS and SMC domain names, SIEM, IPS, vulnerability management and web service access and SMC perimeter and internal firewall.• Risk assessment and analysis for new network integrations, applications and hosted services.• Monitor, isolate, resolve and document network and security related incidents. Coordinate with third party support groups (e.g. telecommunication service providers, original equipment manufacturer technical support team) to resolve network and security problems.• Prepare monthly operational reports. Participate and contribute in monthly operational reviews.
