As a BEng Motorsport Engineering student at Coventry University, my focus lies in acquiring both theoretical and practical expertise essential for the design, development, and testing of motorsport systems and components.During my time as a Quality Assistant at ASG Group, a prominent engineering company catering to clients such as Rolls Royce, I dedicated six weeks to volunteering and enhancing the part marking department. My efforts were directed towards achieving and maintaining high-quality standards, ultimately improving production efficiency. Subsequently, I was offered a paid internship extending from January to September 2024, which I eagerly accepted. Throughout my internship so far at Arrowsmith, I am honing my skills in inspection practices, including manual measurements and operating various types of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM).Additionally, I have experience as a Supercar Instructor at Everyman Racing, where I shared my passion for motorsports with customers and facilitated their enjoyment of high-performance vehicles. My responsibilities encompassed ensuring their safety, applying excellent customer service and communication skills. This role further deepened my understanding of the engineering intricacies of supercars, including aerodynamics, suspension, and engine design.My objective is to secure a work experience or placement opportunity within the motorsport engineering industry. I aim to contribute my skills, knowledge, and enthusiasm to foster innovation and success in the field. As a dedicated, adaptable, and creative student, I am continually seeking new avenues for improvement and growth.
