Led a small design team in branding, interface, and experience design, while also working as an engineer on front-end (CSS, HTML, JavaScript, Angular 1.x and designing systems to support development) in addition to backend engineering (ElasticSearch, Flask and Python, Node and Express).

Goes To Work (previously called Madelike) is a side company associated with Fuzzco that built a suite of productivity and project management tools for small creative agencies. I helped lead an effort to build a testing suite for the custom front-end javascript framework we used internally. I helped contribute to numerous features and bug fixes while there, including development of timesheet generation. Designed a marketing website for showcasing the flagship product.

Working at Fuzzco was a period of extreme growth and learning for me. For the first time, I worked on a team with a group of people focused on design and development with experience much greater than mine. There, I worked on all sorts of things including: building a inventory display and marketing website for Distinctive Events, designing and building websites for Britt Travis (Dispute Resolutions and Travis Consulting, Inc), building a teaser website for Sociale mocktails, designing and building cross-client emails for Inmar, building a website for Bunch Group, making a teaser website for Like a Local. Mostly worked in development on PHP and Wordpress websites, spending time learning the edges of CSS capabilities at the time.

Did web development for various contract gigs.

Protein interaction is one of the fundamental mechanisms at the cellular level. Two such interactions occur between the KIRREL3 protein and the MAP1B protein, and between the KIRREL3 protein and the MYO16 protein. This research aimed to confirm the interaction between the KIRREL3 protein’s extra-cellular domain and the target proteins. The KIRREL3 gene is known to be associated with intellectual disability. Confirmation of these interactions would allow further insight into KIRREL3’s role in ID’s phenotypic expression.
