I am also involved with coaching at the school. As classroom teacher it was my duty to make sure all the learners do all the work in the workbooks provided for them, grade all their assessments and fill in the marks/ grades on the system. Develop effective lessons as per national curriculum goals and objectives. Maintain good records administrative practices to monitor the progress of each-and-every student, and provide feedback on how to improve learning outcomes, we would give them intervention of extra classes if needed. We also had parent-teacher evenings for the parents to ask me anything about their child in a class situation or about their grades.The school is not financially very strong, they do not have interactive whiteboards to work from or projectors. They only have a whiteboard which we use to write on with whiteboard markers. Not all the learners have textbooks, some of them must share.In the classroom we have a total of between 36 – 42 students.Coaching: I coach Athletics (sprints and long jump) u10-13 and Rugby u11.
