Since 1995, Ryosuke Imai has been prominent in creating Japan’s top Hip Hop and R&B hits.Imai’s big break was in 2002, with one of Japan’s most influential artists of all time, Namie Amuro.In search of the next “Japanese Janet Jackson”, Imai was responsible for providing Namie Amuro with creative direction and ultimately introducing the world to her “new sound”,assisting her rise to the forefront as Japan’s leading R&B singer of that time with the hit single, “Suite Chic.”Imai’s work gained international attention after discovering Japanese R&B artist, TEE, who’s hit single, “Baby I Love You” received over 10 million downloads and was covered by not only Japanese R&B songstress, Che’Nelle, but many others all over the world!Recently, Imai reunited with Namie Amuro and created “Hero” which was chosen to be the official song for Japan’s largest broadcasting network, NHK, for the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and coined Imai as an official songwriter.Imai has participated in the planning of an MTV audition program titled, “STAR TOUR” and served as a presenter at the MTV Music Video Awards.Through his love of music, Imai has also given back to the community with his 2003 charity project,“Voice of Love” in which he contributed in building schools and donating musical instruments to the Philippines and Ghana.Imai supported “Doctors without Borders” in 2011 while in the same year contributed and assisted with social media donations to those affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Tohoku, Japan.Now expanding his company with recording studios in Tokyo, Singapore, and Los Angeles, Imai has added talent scouting and artist training to his resume!Taking the current TinyVoice Productions and being able to add collaborations with international Artists’, producers, and songwriters, is Imai’s next goal as a multifaceted creative.
