With over 25 years of experience in the software industry, I am passionate about helping customers and partners achieve their digital transformation goals through the power of cloud computing. As an Executive Managing Director and Public Sector Lead at Microsoft, I am responsible for enabling the digital transformation of Japanese central and local government, education, and health care customers with Microsoft's cloud technologies. As a Director at Software Association Japan, I represent software industry interests and perspectives in the Japanese software-technology ecosystem, and advocate for policies and standards that promote innovation, collaboration, and inclusivity. In my most recent role as the Asia Regional Business Lead for Small, Medium and Corporate Sales at Microsoft, I led the strategy and execution of Microsoft's SMC business across Asia, which includes APAC, Australia, GCR, India, and Japan. I focused on driving cloud growth in the managed and unmanaged segments, leveraging Azure, Office 365, and Dynamics 365 solutions. I also built and maintained strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, such as distributors, resellers, system integrators, and industry associations. I contributed to Microsoft's revenue and customer satisfaction growth in the region, and received multiple awards and recognitions, including the Circle of Excellence Platinum - Founder's Award in 2017, the highest global recognition in Microsoft. I have also completed several professional certifications, such as the Microsoft-INSEAD Online Business Strategy and Financial Acumen, the Insight Selling, and the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals. I am fluent in English and Japanese, and have a strong interest in leading a break through through strategic business planning & execution as well as by building and motivating a diverse and inclusive organization.
