I created a centralized database of the affordable housing units within Middlesex County using information gleaned from the NJ DCA and county resources. The data was subsequently compiled into a collection of maps, using ArcGIS, that demonstrated the distribution of units within the individual municipalities of the county. Spatial analysis was also conducted, showing the availability of population-restricted housing and also mapping the locations of units within local municipal maps with road and public transportation overlays.This internship was in collaboration with the Rutgers University Civic Engagement and Service Education Partnerships (CESEP) Office for credit.
