I am seeking an internship that will allow me to apply my skills and ideas, and to gain valuable experience in critical thinking and communication in the workplace.I am an aerospace engineering student at UC Irvine, currently lead launch vehicle engineer at UCI Rocket Project Solids, a student-led design project that develops and launches solid rocket motors. In this role, I apply my manufacturing skills to cut, sand, carbon fiber layup, and fiberglass as well as help with the manufacturing of the motor mount using injection bonding. I also collaborate with other engineers to conduct static fire tests, analyze data, and troubleshoot issues.Previously, I worked as an infotainment engineer at Lordstown Motors Corporation, where I tested and validated software components for electric vehicles. I learned to communicate problems and challenges with co-workers efficiently, and to deploy firmware updates over-the-air. I also acquired skills in soldering, wire cutting, and crimping techniques to fabricate harnesses for electrical connections, and in AutoCAD Fusion 360 to create 2D drawings of test bench emulators.
