I am a full-time Administrative Coordinator at the Center for African Studies at the University of Pittsburgh. The Center for African Studies is a Certificate Program and one of ten recognized National Resource Centers (NRCs) funded by the US Department of Education. I handle the administration in the Center, such as managing the team's expense reports, running the newsletter/social media pages, handling reservations, keeping data/records, planning/coordinating events, travel booking, amongst other duties. I am the first and central point of contact in the Center, so don't hesitate to reach out!I graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2019 with a Bachelor of Philosophy degree in Anthropology and Gender Studies (minor: creative nonfiction). I have a master's-level undergraduate thesis, and have published works in journalism, poetry, and fiction. With my education and ten years of customer service experience, I am a master at navigating social environments, critical thinking, task optimization, and taking initiative.
