Transferred to US parent company for training and mastered its proprietary technology. Became a starting member in development of fluid film bearing spindle and completed a computer-aided analysis for designing fluid film bearing and prototype development.

Mastered Honda’s R&D and manufacturing philosophy including R&D for Lean Manufacturing, Quality Control activity and Industrial Hands-on development. Designed and tested body construction and various mounting system to minimize noise and vibration in car compartment with active dumping and isolation technique from 2nd harmonics of 4-cylinder engines by utilizing Modal technique and FFT analysis. Applied patented parts are still being used in most of the present production models. Developed and established a computer-aided testing system and FEA analysis (NASTRAN) for noise and vibration reduction model.
