Technical Marketing Engineer on the Product Management team for Cisco's STBU / Cloud Based Web Security Platform (ScanSafe).Came to Cisco through the Acquisition of ScanSafe, Inc. of which I was one of the original U.S. staff.

My role was to help develop new technologies to integrate our clients network with ScanSafe / Cisco's cloud based web security architecture.

Started my own business that applied e-commerce and automation to a variety of markets: real estate investments, audio recording, mortgages, retail furniture, and even opened a used car lot. I was in a hands-on role at Sprint's wireless ISP startup, liaising with internal customers to developsolutions. I performed analysis and design, developed algorithms, architected database schema,documentation, then personally developed the solution and worked with the customer to further refinethe software/network/server solution. Developed prototypes for Web Cache server data archival using Oracle. Gave users the ability to see the effectiveness of Cisco's Web Caching technology in a GUI format. Performed in-depth comparisons of Linux-based layer-2 data network traffic analysis tools. Was able to decipher packets on layer 2 and do diagnostics on current report authenticity. Co-created a threshold Monitoring and Managing tool that the Sprint SBD NOC still uses to keep track of network elements and to create alarms via both an SNMP-Trap interface and a Web GUI for troubleshooting purposes. Saved Sprint over a Million dollars in licensing fees for outside software that was to do this. Implemented and Developed CGI-based troubleshooting Interface for call center. Automated reporting on the enforcement of Sprints Acceptable Use Policy via Perl/DBI.
