As a former NCAA full scholarship athlete with a BS in Kinesiology and an M.Ed. in Education (2019), I bring a unique blend of discipline, passion, and expertise to my role as a tenured Special Education math teacher since 2017. My commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment is reflected in my active involvement in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives, where I have contributed to various committees and played a key role in developing and facilitating DEI curriculum in my school.Beyond the classroom, my love for fitness and sports remains strong. I am dedicated to nurturing young athletes as a coach in soccer, volleyball, and flag football, focusing on player development and recreation.In addition to my teaching and coaching roles, I am proud to be a small business owner of Memorable Moments Event Decor. During the pandemic, I turned my passion for crafts and design into a thriving event decor business, which has continued to grow over the past two years.I am enthusiastic about continuing my work in education and DEI, and I am always eager to connect with others who share a passion for making a positive impact.
