The manufacturing is in the field of microelectronics, using latest nanotechnology tools and methods (photo-lithography, vacuum). I was working in the vacuum group, which takes care of processes and tools that are running on high and ultra-high vacuum conditions. Most of the time the work consisted of analyzing data retrieved during manufacturing, trying to understand what causes changes and deviations in the process, in order to improve the efficiency and reduce scrap. JMP and Matlab programs were used for statistical and visual analysis.
