As a post-doc in Princeton I contribute developing image processing tools for the forthcoming LSST survey. In particular, I investigate the problem of deblending, which is to say that my goal is to separate overlapping images of galaxies for further analysis. Another of professional interests is the combination of data at different resolution from different instruments.I also continue my research on strong gravitational lensing with my collaborators at EPFL (Switzerland) and CEA (France).

My work focuses on applications of modern techniques for image processing to the fields of astrophysics and cosmology. I am particularly interested in studying an effect called strong gravitational lenses that causes galaxies to behave as natural telescopes to look into the most distant regions of our Universe. I implement inverse problem solutions on images of the night sky to accurately reconstruct images of distant galaxies and estimate dark matter distribution in our Universe.
