PhD in Applied Mathematics, granted by the Faculty of Sciences of the renowned University of Porto - FCUP/U.Porto, in Portugal. My research during my doctorate stood out in the area of Fluid Dynamics. The recognition of my Doctorate in Applied Mathematics extends nationally, validated by the prestigious Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS. My academic career also includes a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Fluid Dynamics and Flow Machines, obtained at the Federal University of Itajubá - UNIFEI/MG. I started my academic journey with a degree in Mathematics from the Federal University of Acre - UFAC. During that period, I participated in a Scientific Initiation project that involved a project entitled "Geometric Fractal Modeling with Object Oriented Programming Language". My expertise extends beyond academic boundaries, serving as a reviewer for reputable journals such as the Journal of Mathematics and Statistics in Dubai, UAE; the International Journal of Theoretical and Applied Mathematics (IJTAM) in New York - USA; the International Journal of Applied Physics and Mathematics (IJAPM) in California - USA; the Advances in Science, Technology and Engineering Systems Journal (ASTESJ) in California - USA and the Journal of Applied Fluid Mechanics (JAFM) of Isfahan University of Technology, in Iran. Furthermore, I am an active member of the International Association of Engineers and Computers Scientists - IAENG, based in Hong Kong - China. My areas of expertise include Computational Fluid Dynamics, Partial and Ordinary Differential Equations, Integro-Differential Equations, Navier-Stokes Non-Linear Equations, Turbulence in Incompressible Fluids and Heat Transfer. I demonstrate proficiency in Numerical Methods, including Large-Eddy Simulation (LES), Smagorinsky, Spalart-Allmaras, Partially-Averaged Navier-Stokes (PANS), Detached-Eddy Simulation (DES) and Unsteady Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes Equations (URANS) , using the Immersed Boundary Method (IBM) as methodology.
