Beta-i is a collaborative innovation consultancy that helps organizations create positive impact through open and shared innovation.Participation in different types of innovation projects and activities such as open innovation, ecossystem mapping, strategic roadmap, or benchmarking reports.Work developed with clients from different areas such as blue economy, sustainability or energy.Main activities:1. Researching data and intel for projects including key trends, enterprise and academic documents.2. Scouting and evaluating 100+ startups in different fields of work.3. Provide ongoing support to the project team I am part of in key project moments.4. Consolidating and analyzing sets of data and information management.5. Use of virtual tools such as Asana, Miro, Hubspot, Slack, Google Meets, Google Sheets.6. Stakeholder engagement participating in meetings with clients and with startups on 1x1 meetings.

The Emigration Observatory (OEm) is an independent technical and research structure integrated in the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology (CIES) of Iscte, University Institute of Lisbon.Participation in a research project related to the Portuguese communities, conducted perrequest of the Secretariat of State of the Portuguese Communities.Research activities:1. Researching public policies from Portugal and other countries in the world with large diasporas.2. Writing recommendations and policies for the Portuguese State to adopt, focused on two points:a. The relations between Portugal and the communities (with a focus on matters such as circulation of emigrants, remittances, among others).b. Communities as agents of language and Portuguese culture (with a focus on the use of language and culture in the communities abroad).

The Next Century Foundation is a UK-based NGO in consultative status with the United Nations. Research activities:1. Conducting research on Human Rights and conflict issues in countries within specific crisis areas(Middle East, Maghreb and South Asia).2. Attending and taking minutes of working group meetings focused on those countries with interestedstakeholders.3. Writing and delivering briefings on recent developments during working group meetings.4. Writing blogs for the NCF website.5. Researching and producing a written intervention on the humanitarian crisis in Syria, submitted bythe NCF on the 51st session of the UN Human Rights Council.Administrative responsibilities:1. I was responsible for contacting the UN on behalf of the NCF (delivering documentation / requests and submitting the NCF's oral reports / written statements for two sessions of the UN Human RightsCouncil).2. Administrator of the NCF website.3. Responsible for the NCF LinkedIn page (publishing content related to blogs, podcasts or UNinterventions; updating informations related to the NCF).
