I, Syed Abbas Raza, am working as Asstt. Librarian & Library In-Charge in the cadre of Scientific Officer in one of India’s top Textile Research Institutes known as Northern India Textile Research Association (NITRA). The institute is linked to Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India and I am associated with this organization for the last 17 years. My total working experience is 18 yrs.I have strong academic background of natural science (BSc), History (MA), Public Administration (DPA), Computer Science (PGDCA) and Library and Information Science (BLibISc. & MLibISc). I have diverse working experience as a library professional. I started my carrier as a trainee for a year in British Library, Lucknow, one of world’s most renowned Public Library. During my internship of Certificate in Library Science I also worked with world renowned Drug Research Institute (CDRI, Lucknow) and Toxicology Research Institute (ITRC, Lucknow). It’s my strong belief that I could apply my combination of knowledge and experience and contribute a lot to your esteem organisaton, especially in the field of library and information.
