Major responsibilities:Quotation and Marketing segment:- Preparing costing of all types of products (Knit, Woven & Sweater) for different buyers.- Infiltrating new and untouched market and building up relation with new buyers.- Assessing current market value and finding out competitive advantage.- Coordinating financing as well as operating activities.- Negotiating and convincing buyers the logical pricing as well as suggesting them cost effective mechanisms.- Doing post costing for self evaluation.- Taking orders from different buyers and placing them with several factories- Analysing cost break down sheet.Execution segment:- Following up several orders of various departments of different brands.- Preparing TnA Calendar and maintaining it strictly to ensure on time delivery.- Communicating with raw materials suppliers and controlling the supply chain.- Doing product risk assessment at the beginning and taking proactive actions.- Lab dip and strike offs approval from buyer.- Providing bulk fabric approval.- Ensuring on time sample submission.- Coordination with QA team to ensure correct quality.- Creating PI and ensuring to receive LC within required time.- Vessel booking and communicating with freight forwarder to ensure on time goods handover.Development segment:- Preparing product presentation following mood board.- Attending development meeting and suggesting product modification.- Coordination with dedicated development team and finding out best critical path to develop.- Controlling the raw materials supply from development stage.

Major Responsibilities:-Keeping up to date with emerging fashion trends as well as general trends relating to fabrics. Colors and shapes. -Planning and developing ranges.-Developing color palette for seasonal trends.-Keeping up to date with latest fabric and texture.-coordinate sample development process.-To do fabric/trims/accessories booking.-Following up knitting, dyeing, printing, embroidery and finishing sample of design garments.-Following up making sample with update from respective department in the factory.-Following the current buyer products to get a vision of differentiation .-Keeping and prevailing time management.-Responsible for the finished product.-Knowing all the technical side of the garment.-Working closely with the buying team on related issue.-Visiting textile fairs to get substantial knowledge of latest trends and products.-Ensuring the sustainable initiatives throughout the activities of the development.-Finding and sorting out technical difficulties of products.-Attending important development meeting.-Target oriented planning.

The management trainee program largely dealt with setting up a challenging situation for the new comers so that the trainees could cope up with pressure and handle the situation smartly and effectively.
