I am an enthusiastic and motivated self-starter who enjoys working directly with clients and customers. I love team collaboration and always strive to develop an atmosphere that is open to creativity – especially creative problem solving. Though originally from Rhode Island, my years at the University of Michigan convinced me that I am a Midwesterner at heart. I currently reside in Chicago where I am the Marketing Manager for Think Jerky, a brand new food business start-up. I am an adroit researcher and passionate about both analytical and creative writing. I apply these skills at Think to create tailored social media marketing and public relations strategies, as well as dynamic brand recognition campaigns that keep up with trends in the marketplace. The food space has been my wheelhouse for four years but I am well versed in the nuances and skills necessary to successfully manage a business. Before I came to Chicago, I was Project Manager for Roosevelt Academy, an educational start-up in Providence, Rhode Island. At RIA I balanced overseeing the company's finances with managing the day-to-day competing demands of RIA staff, students, parents, and partner schools.I have a BA in Middle Eastern and East Asian Studies from the University of Michigan and maintain my interest in history, philosophy, military affairs, and foreign language-learning. I enjoy food, fitness, dogs, and travel.
