Accomplishment:• Was helpful in reducing the turn over time and idle inventory time, thus reducing the inventory cost, being Platinum very expensive material.• Reducing the rework and in process rejections for reducing the processing losses.• Reducing response time for solving problems of the product during its use at customer’s end, by maintain better interaction with users operating personnel.

Responsibilities:  Responsible for conversion of the available premises into a production facility.• Installation of the plant and machinery. • Liaison with erection engineers from machinery suppliers. • Conducting the trial runs of the manufacturing machinery.• Staffing and training of the employees.• Procurement and checking of the raw materials and consumables.• Trial runs and commissioning. • Conducting the guaranteed runs of the machinery.• Setting up the product quality control facilities and Quality Management Systems. Responsibilities:Research and Development• Set up and heading the Research and Development department. Identification of research projects. Allocation of job responsibilities and provide guidance for good progress of the projects.• As the Management Representative, Installation, monitoring and control of ISO 9001. • Develop cost effective glass formulations. Quality Control• Monitoring the product quality and set up research projects for quality upgradation.• Set up the Quality Control Departments and formulate the quality plans.• As Management Representative, provide the Installation, monitoring and control of ISO 9001. Technical and Chemical control• Setting up the Chemical department for formulating the recipes sizing chemicals formulations. • Develop cost effective sizing formulations. Retune in view of product quality.• Setting up, monitor the environmental control facilities, including the effluent treatment plant.Production department• As overall in charge of production department, review of operating parameters for maximizing the production volumes and improving the conversion efficiencies. • Ensuring complete in-process quality control & continuous improvement in process capabilities. • Promote energy conservation. • Reduce the in-process wastages and inventories and optimization of manpower. Accomplishment: • Developed glass formulation involving massive cost reduction also leading to reduction to environmental pollution. • Optimized the production parameters leading to substantial increase in production volumes and decrease in process waste generation.• As Management Representative, installed the Quality Management systems, including ISO 9001.• Worked actively for obtaining Accreditations from reputed International product certification agencies like American Bureau of Shipping, Lloyds Register of Shipping, DNV, IRS etc.

Responsibilities:Production department• Joined in production department as Shift Officer. Accomplishment: • Developed vendors for Raw material & Chemicals.• Developed glass formulation for tuning as per available raw materials. • Worked extensively with foreign collaborators and their overseas laboratories, for setting up new product divisions like Glass wool and Fiberglass tissues.• Set up Quality control facilities, staffing, equipment, quality plans & procedures for new divisions.
