- One of five designers of the Core Standards of the Production Engineering group which generated $60M+ increased yearly cash flow- Designed extensive production model which calculates attainable production targets for increased accountability for underground operations- Created intuitive dashboards / presentations for mine, mid-level and senior management to inform of Core Standards implementation progress- Worked with mine management and mine employees to streamline / optimize mining processes emphasizing increase safety, productivity, compliance and decrease cost- Created mechanical and procedural illustrations to guide end users- Overseen flow of data for Production Engineering group- Co-authored (with internal team of ANR management) an extensive internal training program “Competitive Edge” to assist mine management in self and employee behavior change to drive business objectives (less injuries, less violations, more At-Risk observations, increased equipment availability, increased production efficiency and decreased operating costs)

- Evaluated business processes and determine improvements to drive business excellence at mine site and business unit levels- Facilitated Lean Six Sigma project meetings- Tracked cost savings / increased revenue from projects

- Managed and directed coal from ANR subsidiaries and contract mines- Analyzed coal qualities and created train blends to satisfy customers- Established and maintained databases pertaining to coal quality and tonnages- Oversaw troubleshooting and maintenance of scales, nuclear analyzer, and loadout- Participated in multiple facets of $9M loadout construction * Participated in design review, third party proposal reviews and bid/contract negotiations * Managed third party vendors installation of nuclear analyzer, scales, wireless communications and sampling systems

- Supported 9 offices and 7 mines totaling 127 users and 135 computers- Troubleshot, replaced, installed computers, peripherals, truck scales- Implemented and supported networking systems (LAN, WAN, VLAN, satellite, fiber optics)- Implemented and supported communications systems (overcame challenges of remote and underground locations)

- Mine planning- Created EOM maps, phase maps, progress maps, royalty maps- Set up networks at remote locations

- Created survey maps / designed residential areas / designed valley fills- Performed civil and mining engineering work
