Under a 6-month contract through Patina Solutions, I had full P&L and Operational responsibility for the entire Americas region for Aptiv's $1.5B Connections Systems group in the USA, Mexico, and Brazil.

Essimann is an interior finisher with several various materials from premium vinyl to exotic leathers. I had full P&L and operational responsibility for facilities in the USA and Mexico with revenue of $150m. Led extensive growth with Tesla and Mercedes Benz.

The Steel Structures & Mechanisms-Americas (SS&M) is a fully vertically integrated business unit that stamps, welds, paints and assembles complete steel seat structures for Automotive OEM vehicles. I led the SS&M $1.7B business unit consisting of 9 manufacturing facilities within the USA and Mexico employing approx. 8000 employees. Responsible for all aspects of the business unit including all P&L, capital management, new business launches, digital transformation, and advanced engineering.

Pangeo Group is a $500M automotive components manufacturer based in Canada serving several Global OEM’s, Tier I & Tier II automotive suppliers throughout the world. Responsible for all aspects of Global Operations and Acquisitions throughout Canada, USA, China, Germany, Mexico and Europe. Product offerings include "safety critical" powertrain components, molds, seating, and complex exterior accessories.

Models & Tools designs and manufactures advanced tooling systems for several Aerospace & Defense OEM's. The company was acquired by a Private Equity firm in 2011 and had a successful exit and sale in 2016 under my guidance.

Full P&L and Operational responsibility for Benteler North American operations with $1.1B in annual sales at 9 divisions with approx. 4500 employees in North America (USA, Canada, Mexico). Processes include stamping, welding, hydroforming, hot stamping (hot forming) laser cutting, assembly, module build up, sequencing, and automation systems. Responsible for strategic growth, capital investment, expansion and improvements throughout North America. Benteler NA is a Tier I supplier to Automotive OEM customers in North America and Europe.

Full P&L responsibility for the Cosma/USA region of $1.7B with 8 large manufacturing locations with approx. 4800 employees. Accountable for all operational, engineering, R&D, sales, business development, capital management, and LEAN activities within the region. Operations included a wide range of various stamping and metal forming processes including Tandem Press-Lines, Mechanical and Servo Transfer Presses, Hot Forming (Stamping), highly automated assembly & tooling systems for OEM automotive customers including Body-Side Class-A components, assemblies, upper-body structure and assemblies, under-body chassis, frames, modules, module build up, cradles and links. Grew revenue $1.0 billion to $1.7 billion in less than three years while improving EBITA by more than 3%. Supported Cosma’s strategic expansion into High and Low-Pressure Aluminum Die Cast Chassis and Structural components.

Full P&L responsibility for a $180+ million revenue, 300 employee 200K sq. ft. facility producing stampings, welded steel and manufactured assemblies for OEM customers including Ford, Chrysler, & GM with some products in the renewable energy-solar sector. Created and led the regional strategy for 4 Iowa mfg. plants that successfully delivered exceptional results including regional sales, marketing, and operations to continue to win long term profitable business. Introduced Lean practices that generated profits and positive cash flow throughout the entire 2008-2009 global economic downturn.

Tasked with winning and launching new business to support the Toyota Motor Co. Tupelo Mississippi location. Unfortunately, while establishing the new Greenfield location in the Southeastern USA, the 2008 recession forced Toyota to postpone the opening of the Tupelo facility therefore the Greenfield project be cancelled. I wound down the project seamlessly and relocated the awarded business and employees to other regional Cosma facilities in under 3 months with zero customer disruptions.

Full P&L responsibility with a focus of restructuring the business and introducing solid Lean Methodologies (TPS based). Restructured the business from significant losses to into significant profits within 8 months and grew the business from $20 million to $70 million in profitable sales.

A Sr. Program Manager, based in Troy MI and Shanghai China. Lead the design and development of Cosma’s strategic business expansion into China. Lead the development of Greenfield sites in China and led all New Business, Engineering, Program Management and Facility Locations.

Joined as a Tool & Die Maker and proceeded to move through the ranks as a Program Manager, Assistant Assembly Department Manager, to ultimately the Assembly Department Manager.
