I bring 40 years of experience to my work as a calligrapher, graphic designer and artist. I specialize in world calligraphy: contemporary and traditional scripts and languages from Asia, Europe and Africa. I teach Chinese calligraphy on the faculty of the Academy for Five Element Acupuncture; teach brush painting, watercolor, bookbinding and calligraphy at Sweetwater Print Cooperative, and lead regular calligraphy workshops and seminars on Arabic and Persian calligraphy at Florida State University (FSU) and Valencia College as well as at other colleges, universities, libraries and cultural organizations by invitation. I am particularly interested in special or unusual projects that incorporate calligraphy art and design.
