I successfully taught and mentored students of European history, diplomacy, historiography, and Sino-Russian politics. As a proactive member of the Departmental Research Committee, I actively participated in paper setting, examination, interviews, and assessments of M.Phil. and Ph.D. candidates. I have also had the honor to serve as a member of the Editorial Board for Studia Humanitatis, a prestigious peer-reviewed research journal published by the Institute of Modern Humanitarian Research in Moscow. My role as a Member of the Board of Faculty at the University of Karachi provided me with opportunities to collaborate with fellow educators, share knowledge, and contribute to the development of academic programs. As the Departmental Representative for ERP implementation at the University of Karachi, I took an active role in enhancing technological infrastructure for a seamless learning experience. I also played a pivotal role in organizing a two-day international conference on "Diversity and Peace: Challenges for Social Discourse" which brought together esteemed international scholars and experts to address the complexities of fostering diversity and peace in a rapidly changing world.

I have had the privilege of teaching a diverse range of courses, including History of Europe (1453-1945), History of Institutions and Ideas, European Diplomacy, Chinese and Russian Politics, Political History of the Far East (with special reference to China and Russia), and Contemporary World Politics. I also successfully and consistently managed a challenging course load of up to 4 courses per semester, ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience for my students. I provided academic guidance and assessment to more than 200 students each semester which resulted in significant improvements in their academic performance and overall development. I also played a key role in designing and enhancing courses for both undergraduate and graduate classes. I shared my insights on "A Comparison of the EU and China’s Respective Development Policies for Africa" at the seminar on EU and China in Africa, held at the Area Study Centre for Europe (ASCE), University of Karachi, Karachi, Pakistan in April 2011. Additionally, I presented my research on "Chinese Geo-Political Realities in the Context of Pakistan" at the Regional Studies Association China Conference 2015, at Zhejiang University, Hangzhou.

During the initial years of my career, I taught engaging courses on European political history and the political history of ancient India. I was able to skillfully manage up to 5 courses per semester, ensuring an enriching academic experience for students. I also provided academic guidance and support to over 250 students per semester, thus assisting them in their educational journey. By assessing student performance fairly and constructively, I helped them develop critical thinking and analytical skills. During this time, I also enhanced my experience in conducting in-depth research and analyses on the complex geopolitical topics related to Russia, China, and the Caspian Region.
