I am a graduate of a Bachelor of Arts Degree, with Dean's list recognition for multiple terms. I was awarded an internship position in my third year where I learned about child rights and the right to play. This internship led to the development of a pilot project called ​Youth as Urban Designers. Through coursework at University I have had the opportunity to explore library programming, Indigenous learning, curriculum development and learning techniques on how to engage and work with all students. I am a driven individual that will go the extra mile for my students, colleagues and support staff so we can all succeed together. It is these qualities of diverse learning and personal growth that will help shape my future teaching style.Upon completing my Bachelor of Education at Simon Fraser University, I plan to complete a Masters of Geography with a focus on sustainability, environmental education and Indigenous perspectives. As well as completing my Library Information and Technology Degree from the University of the Fraser Valley.
