With a career spanning over 30 years, S. Mohan is a technology veteran, investor, and serial entrepreneur. Currently, he serves as the Founder and CEO of JumpTech Solutions Corp, a global enterprise digitization and mobile solution company. Mohan started in consulting in the early 90s with Datapro Information Service Group, a S&P Subsidiary (which was acquired by Gartner Group) where he climbed to Head of Consulting for the Asia Pacific. In the late 1990s, he left the consulting side to pursue entrepreneurship with the founding of two internet companies, e.Com and later SpaceDisk, which looked to capitalize on the dot.com era with first-of-their kind online offerings such as online payments and cloud file storage. During that time, he also participated in venture capital where he was a Partner at Vista Ventures and a Mentor Partner at Frontedge Capital. Following exits from those firms, Mohan’s entrepreneurial journey continued as co-founder and CEO of Kiteworks (previously known as Accellion, Inc.) in Palo Alto in 1999. Kiteworks was one of the first companies to focus on secure file distribution. Following a Private Equity funding round, Mohan continued his focused on the Asian-Pacific tech market where he co-founded two more tech-forward firms; Buuuk and Spuul. Spuul was one of the first platforms to offer OTT content across mobile applications throughout Asia and India. Mohan exited Spuul in 2013 to focus his energy on Buuuk. Born as a consumer-app with the launch of the iPhone in Asia in 2008, Buuuk initially pointed users to local restaurants in Singapore and later all over Asia. Within a year, Buuuk quickly pivoted to become a preeminent player in enterprise scale mobile solution development. With clients such as government agencies and global automotive brands, Mohan's experience in tech development, implementation and scaling businesses spans across the spectrum of technical expertise including design and development, and next-gen tech such as cloud computing and artificial intelligence. Beyond leading his own companies, Mohan has remained active in entrepreneurial mentorship, including work guiding aspiring entrepreneurs through the intricacies of startup ecosystems. Mohan splits his time between the United States, where he continues to invest and work with innovative technology companies, and in Singapore where his family resides. Mohan was also recognised as one of the 10 Pioneer Entrepreneurs of Singapore's Tech Journey in a book called “Intelligent Island” published by the Singapore Infocomm Technology Federation (SITF.org.sg).
