Receivables• Performed customer analysis and identify the top 5 customer and significant  trade receivables existing at period end. • Carried out on sending external confirmations to ensure completeness. • Carried out recomputation of the ageing of receivables to ensure it is properly presented in financial statements. • Performed recomputation of the ageing of receivables and verified whether appropriate provision has been created. Borrowings • Recomputed the interest on borrowing using the loan agreement and matched with schedule. • On sample basis a sample is selected from loan schedule and verified the interest of the loan.Interest income• Performed recalculation of interest to ensure it is correctly calculated.• Recalculated cash discount to verify whether cash discount is calculated appropriately. • Performed customer overdue testing by recalculating the interest on customer overdraft based on the terms and conditions fixed by the entity and ensured that the difference is immaterial. Control testing • Performed 3 way match for property, plant and equipment. • Reviewed the approval mails and inspected credit note issued for sales returns and discussed with management and obtained the reason for thesales return.
